Valentine's Day Table Setting: Welcome to the 181st Tablescape Thursday!

It was another gorgeous day here...is this really February?  Since the temps reached 67 degrees today, I headed for the porch for this Tablescape Thursday.

I know Valentine's Day is behind us now, but I had to squeeze in one more Valentine's Day table setting before we say good-bye to that holiday for another year.  I had envisioned this tablescape with red roses in the centerpiece, but unfortunately all the ones I found today were still closed up tight...not quite what I had in mind.

So, I kept the centerpiece simple with pillar candles in silverplated holders.

I spotted these eyelet napkins in another table setting linked to TT recently and I made a bee line for Pier 1 to buy a set.  I can never resist eyelet fabric, no matter if it's sheets or a pretty dress.

Notice how the eyelet napkins repeat the feel of the pierced chargers.  I think you'll be seeing these napkins again over the summer months.  You may remember the dragonfly napkin rings from THIS previous summer table setting.

Dinner and salad plates are Copeland Spode, Tower.  This is the oldest china I own...it dates back to the 1920's.

Instead of bread on our bread plates, each plate holds a heart-shaped cookie.  Who wants bread when we can eat cookies!

I can't wait to see green leaves on the trees again...must be patient, must be patient.  I'm trying.
