A Giveaway and a Trip to France!
I have two delights to share today: One is a giveaway and the second is news of a fabulous trip to France!
Chic Provence is hosting a wonderful giveaway for gorgeous linens from Rough Linen. I love linen fabric. It's natural, it breathes and it wears and lasts so beautifully. This fab giveaway is for an Orkney Linen tablecloth and eight coordinating napkins. I had never heard of Rough Linen but after visiting the site, I'm smitten. I'd love a set of the sheets! You would think linen sheets might not be soft and comfy, but after reading the reviews/testimonials, they sound wonderful. Okay, I'm getting excited and off topic because this giveaway is not for sheets today, instead it's for their wonderful table linens.
How to enter?
Just stop by Chic Provence where you'll find all the details of how to enter this fab giveaway valued at $250. I hope the winner is someone who participates in our weekly Tablescape Thursday because I would LOVE to see a table set with an Orkney tablecloth and napkins from Rough Linens! Pssst: Be sure to leave a comment at Chic Provence to be entered. The drawing will be held on January 20th.
Let's Go to the south of France!
How would you like to spend a week this spring in Provence?
Kit with Chic Provence is planning the most amazing trip.
These photos are not just catalog/brochure photos...they are pics from a previous trip and pics of the real places where you'll stay and visit. I can see now why France is such a popular travel destination.
Isn't this bedroom just beautiful? This is one of the bedrooms at the Villa where the tour attendees will be staying. ~~~ Sigh ~~~
The courtyard outside the villa...
One of the stops on this wonderful trip...
There will even be a cooking class! Love this kitchen!
Is this the way to travel or what? An electric bike will take you on a tour through the vineyards. Of course there will be stops for wine tastings along the way.
Those French markets...could I get in trouble here! Look at all that vintage silver! I love the baskets Kit showed on her site from the French Basketeer. If I were going, one of those would have to come back with me for sure!
Kit thought seriously about buying this upholstered canape at the brocante, but when she came back around to see it again, it was already gone.
You can see more of the photos from last year's trip and learn more about this amazing tour, at Chic Provence Design Tour. Kit has created a brochure you can download with all the details about the tour.
Oh, and don't forget to enter the Rough Linen giveaway while your there checking out the tour.
Bon Voyage! Send me a postcard. Or, a basket. Or, some lavender. I'm not picky. ;)

ReplyDeleteHey - who's the guy in the bed in the Hotel and does he come with the tour package? Beautiful weather in California, but no rain at all. Oh, well..........we'll enjoy it "somehow".
Happy Birthday, Susan, Hope you had a great day and used Chinet on the table so you could relax and not have any dishes to do, or better yet went out to dinner. Remember you are only as old as you feel.
ReplyDeleteLove me some linen sheets! Happy birthday!
ReplyDeleteWONDERFUL tour post and looooovvvvvvveeeeeee Tricia's linen store - wow, two of the most amazing giveaways. WHOOOO!
ReplyDeleteThanks for making this easy for us to find, Susan.
Oh be still my heart!! When we visited England year before last, we had planned visiting Apt and staying there but we were in Spain when the volcano blew, so our trip to France was cancelled as we had to get home to England.
ReplyDeleteI would love another chance to visit, but we only return from our annual trip on March.
C'est la Vie!! I will check out their linens though.
Happy Birthday! Oh I would love some new table linens!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful linens, I became a follower and liked them on facebook and left a message on their site. Fingers crossed. I also mentioned BNOTP. THANK YOU SUSAN!!

Merveilleux... Bonne chance au gagnant.
ReplyDeletegros bisous
Happy Birthday Susan, and thank you for the mention of Rough Linen via Kit. Doesn't the Chic Provence tour look tempting, I wish I could go!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't that be fun to go on her tour! I hope a Tablescape Thursdayer wins, and it could be you! Yesterday I did a table for a family party using my Irish linen tablecloth UNIRONED topped with a sage burlap runner, and felt so guilty for not ironing. Now I feel justified! Love the rustic softness of unironed linen. Thanks for sharing! ~CJ
ReplyDeleteFabulous giveaway! I can't wait to see it on the winner's table. Hope you had a wonderful birthday, Susan!.Christine
