Greetings! Have you had a chance to visit all the amazing "Before and Afters" linked for yesterday's Met Monday? I am so inspired by all the creativity and talent linked each week. So many amazing ideas...I want to try them all.
I've been busy completing more holiday decorating and will be sharing that soon. Decorating around here always involves a trip over to Old Time Pottery to see what they have gotten in for the holiday season. Do you have an Old Time Pottery near your home? If not, it's worth the drive. Seriously! What you save by shopping there will pay for your gas.
I have come to heavily rely on them for affordable goodies for my table settings, holiday decor and everyday decorating in my home.
Old Time Pottery furniture and decor products:
Here are just a few of the treasures (with links to those posts) I've brought home from Old Time Pottery over the years.
Corn platters/chargers in this table setting...
Watermelon platters/chargers in this summer setting...
Rooster glassware for this whimsical setting...
Most of the ornaments for this 4-tiered Christmas centerpiece...
Almost all of the ornaments to make this garland hack for my Christmas, 2010 porch. I'm using this garland again this year, too.
These votive chair candle holders, used as cupcake holders in this 4th of July table setting.
Both the birdie stemware and the beaded napkin rings in this summer tablescape with Herend Rothschild Bird china.
The lantern for my Fall/Halloween porch decor this year...
And this large floral arrangement I've had for years (and still love) in my entry niche. There are so many more goodies in my home from Old Time Pottery, but you would be reading this post until tomorrow if I named them all. And you have better things to do...like sign up for a chance at a $1,000 OTP shopping spree!

ReplyDeleteI have so appreciated your table settings and of course being a Southerner I love your porch pictures best. The lantern you had at Halloween truly caught my eye as my husband is of French decent and I personally love the fleur de lis design on it. I used a picture with the lantern as my desktop for a week...it gave a feeling of serenity.
