A Little More Spring Fluffing...

When I posted this pic of my front door, I received several comments and e-mails asking where I bought the white basket and the daisy flowers.

The basket came from a little antique shop on the Marietta Square in Marietta, Georgia, called Willow Antiques, Too.

When there is another decoration or wreath on the front door, like now...

I move the basket of daisies to one of the doors off of my screened-in porch...

The white daisies are so versatile...they look good almost anywhere...

So, why am I telling you this? Because...on Monday, I stopped by Michaels...and look what I found! :-) The cute white pitcher was 40% off and ended up only costing $10.19. The flowers were also on sale at 40% off, which made them $5.99 per bunch. So if you are still looking for the daisies...hurry over to Michaels!

The pitcher has delicate little detailing around the top...hard to see in the photos. I used two bunches of flowers, so the pitcher and flowers all together...were only around $23...not too bad for a cute centerpiece.

Ummm, I'm thinking this might look pretty good in a tablescape...sometime. :-)

Ya gotta love Michael's. I love daisies, so I think I will make a trip to Michael's. I found the cutest Mary Engelbrite pads,post-it and thank-yous in their dollar bins. That was a deal I couldn't pass up.

LOL Susan, at your comment on my blog. We have the same granite, don't we? ;)

I will always be in awe of your decorating skills and your gorgeous home. What I wouldn't give to see it in person and perhaps sit on your porch with your cat on my lap!

Those are pretty daisys even if they didn't come from the Silk Thumb! :) :)

I always had a thing for daisies but after the movie You've Got Mail... well I just loved them even more. I remember where Meg Ryan says Daisies are the happiest flowers and I thought, yeah, she's right! You are just so talanted. Darn I wish you were my neighbor.

Michaels, is one of my best friends in shopping for flowers; I purchase most from Atlanta from the America's Mart. The dasies are lovely and one of my brides just bought some for me to put in her flower girl arrangement, moss ball and dasies.

Gorgeous table, I love Ms Bunny. I actually bought me one of these pitchers at Michaels a week ago. I haven't done anything with it yet, but I think I'll put pink roses in it. Those name card holders are just too cute. Rosemarie
