Terrafugia: A Surprising Metamorphosis Welcome to the 81st Metamorphosis Monday!

How do you like my new car? (wink, wink) Ok, I know it looks a little strange...but it's really fast and pretty fuel efficient.

It gets 35 miles to the gallon...and did I mention, it's FAST! I'm a girl who loves speed. Unfortunately, I have to be content living vicariously through Danika Patrick. :)

Yep, it looks a little different, but that's just the way it is with some of the "hybrids" these days.

What it lacks in looks, it totally makes up for in speed.

Yep, totally loving this "hybrid."

Hey, guys at Terrafugia...give me call.

I'll even finish up my hours and get my license.

Commuting to work would be a whole new experience. Forget "Park and Rides"...build runways!

This isn't just a dream...the Transition is available from Terrafugia and is being purchased by pilots today. There is currently a waiting list...with 80 on back order.

So, don't be surprised when you see your neighbor out washing his Transition in the driveway one day. Do you think the subdivisions of the future will have a runway in addition to tennis courts and swimming pools? :)

Photos in this post are from Terrafugia website.

This would transform my husband's entire life. No more nights away from home with that baby.

Of course, it would also transform ME into a nervous wreck since I my phobia of flying extends clear to any member of my family.

I'll stay on the ground, thank you. Yikes to flying!!

My husband is in love with this car. I like the fact that it is equipped for parachuting. I see how he drives on the road. He said the only thing that would make it more perfect is if they made it in an F150 version!

Hehe...this is quite the metamorphosis, my friend! You know, I recently read an article about Transition...the car/plane! Really, I am just awestruck! Modern technology!!! I really do see this fabulous car/plane something that may be very common in our near future...again, it's mind boggling! Thanks for sharing this sweet piece of technology with us today for MM! Ohhh...and I didn't know that you knew how to fly a plane...awesome!!! You really should go back and get your license...I think that would be fabulous!!!

Thank you so much for hosting another fun filled Met Monday, my friend! I have really enjoyed participating the past couple of weeks!
