All decorated for the 4th. :)
Today it looks like this...
And this. Stripped down...no cushions.
The view out the breakfast window...
The view from the office.
So, that's what color the pergola really is. ;) Clean and shiny!
As I type these words, these guys are doing an awesome job! (And nope, I didn't get a discount or anything for saying that...just happy with their work.) Check out their reviews on Kudzu...that's where I found them.
See you tonight for Tablescape Thursday!

Fresh, clean wood and windows! That will certainly brighten your day, Susan.
ReplyDeleteaww, how nice, thanks for inspiring me to get doing the same!
ReplyDeleteHugz,
Kim
It looked great for the 4th, but, I like the summer look as well.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to have it all clean. :)
What a big job! Just getting ready for someone else to do it bad enough but we do our own. I was just thinking last evening that I need to get the pressure washer out and start on the front. My sweetheart is working so much overtime I'm sure he would be thrilled if I did it! You've inspired me to clean up my act, I mean house!

Gotta love power washing. It makes everything look brand new.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo nice decorated table, so many nice details:)
Have a nice day, hug Hanne
AHHH! A nice clean home, nothing can compare. I can't wait until they are finished building in our neighborhood, so DH can pull out the pressure washer!
ReplyDeleteLove both your 4th and summer decor.
Isn't it amazing what pressure washing will do!!!??? I know it is making you happy to get it all clean and sparkly!!!!! XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely porch even unadorned.
ReplyDeleteA necessity and a luxury all in one. Will they also be washing the windows, I hope. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteOh goodness me...I think I need to have my windows clean, yeah, they look cloudy. Beautiful Susan, what a nice job they did and your porch looks so fresh, big and great, even without the adornments. Hugs, FABBY
ReplyDeleteCherry Kay...Yes, the windows did get washed...on the outside. Guess that means I better get to work and get the inside done. It was a necessity...first time the house has been done since it was painted 3-4 years ago...3rd time for the deck and rails. I did it last summer but since the whole house really needed to be done, I called in the pros this time. :)
ReplyDeletewoooww!!
ReplyDeleteI like your newly decorated porch and the clean windows!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely lovely! I love to visit your blog and see what you're up to.

Hi Susan! I'm sure that's a lot of work but it will be so sparkly clean and you'll get her all decked out again! Wish I could come over for a visit! :)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Pressure washing is something I have wanted done around here for a long time. It should be a part of my yearly spring and fall cleaning routines!!!
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm new to your blog and love it already! I can hardly wait to get in and read more posts! I especially love your porch.... Some day I will have an outdoor porch like that. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh I need to do this too. Our veranda gets a good cleaning early spring and againl the end of August. Then mini clean ups as needed. I love the clean fresh smell after a good clean up. I'm sure you'll have it all decorated again next time we see it. Thanks Susan.

Sometimes you just have to strip everything and get it clean. That is especially true of a screen porch which is by far the hardest space at my house to keep clean. Yours certainly provides lots of beauty for all of us who follow along.
