Welcome to the 44th Metamorphosis Monday and the Perfect Gift, Give-a-Way!

Thirty-nine days...yep, just 39 days. That's how many days are left until Christmas Day...can you believe it? Every year I start my Christmas shopping early and every year I run into the same problem...what to get for the folks on my list who never drop hints and just don't seem to need or want anything in particular for Christmas. The one thing I really don't like to do, is to buy something to just get the shopping done. I much prefer to give gifts that have real meaning and are special.

If you have a "hard to buy for person" on your Christmas list, and you are looking for a gift that is unique and truly special, you're going to love my post for this Met Monday. Recently, I discovered a wonderful site called Lisa Leonard Designs. Lisa makes custom, sterling-silver jewelry and lovely Limited Edition, pewter ornaments. I especially love her 2009 ornament...it's in the shape of a beautiful, fall leaf.

As unique and pretty as this ornament is, it's about to go through a special transformation...after all, this is Met Monday. :-)

Problem solved...a wonderful gift for the hard to buy person on your Christmas list. Lisa customizes each piece, making it a unique, one-of-kind gift. Fabulous! :-)

When I first saw these, I immediately thought what wonderful place cards they would make for my Christmas table setting. It made me smile envisioning my guests having a lovely keepsake to take home...a special, everlasting gift with which to remember Christmas 2009.

Wouldn't these also be great as teacher's gifts or for newlyweds spending their first Christmas together?

Here's a small sample of the beautiful sterling-silver jewelry you'll find at Lisa Leonard Designs:

The Open Circle bracelet...

Forever Necklace...

And the latest introduction...the Petite Family Crest...

A Give-A-Way:
Lisa is generously giving away three (3) of her gorgeous, leaf ornaments and they will be customized for three lucky winners. Wow! Thanks, Lisa! What a perfect Give-a-Way right here at Christmas time.

How do you enter? Just leave a comment here on this post...how easy is that? :-)

For a Second opportunity to win: Visit Lisa Leonard Designs, HERE...find an item you like, and leave a comment back here on this post mentioning the item by name.

For a Third opportunity to win: Just mention this Give-a-Way in a post on your blog. Don't forget to leave a comment here letting me know that you mentioned the Give-a-Way so I will know to include your name for a third chance in the drawings!

Lisa, also, has a lovely blog where she hosts Give-a-Ways and creates wonderful, inspirational posts. Click HERE to stop by and say, Hi...I know she would appreciate hearing from you!

All winners for the the three Give-a-Ways will be announced on our next Met Monday, November 23rd. :-)

Those are lovely design. So pretty. I'm personally partial to silver/platinum over gold so they really appealed to me.

Hi Susan,
thank you for hosting and having such a fun Giveaway. I've always loved anything in the shape of a leaf and absolutely LOVE the leaf shaped ornaments. I can't believe it is sooooo close to Christmas. Our kitchen remodel is truly throwing me for a Holiday decorating loop. It will be interesting if I can pull it all off in time for hosting Christmas eve for the whole family.
Have a wonderful Monday,
Tam

This is a very talented lady. I love the ornaments, a forever gift and the memories of who it came from. Of course it is without being said, I love the jewelry too.

It was so much easier to shop when my sons were little. The list started early in the year and carried on for months. Always something to choose from. Now they are in their 20's and I am clueless. My husband is impossible. Unless of course I want to buy him a new snow mobile. Ha. Not likely.
Me, well I am simple. Easy to please with lots of choices. They had better get started.
These pieces are really very pretty. I like silver jewelry a lot. I think it is a great idea for a placecard.

Sherry said...

It was really hard choosing my favorite...but I love the Teenie Tiny Initial necklace. It is so sweet with the little pearl.
